Everton fans were still enraged when Andre Gomes was stretchered off after suffering a serious ankle injury which left Tottenham's Son Heung-min in tears and overshadowed the home side scoring a 97th-minute equaliser to earn a 1-1 draw in the Premier League on Sunday.

Son was left distraught after his tackle on Gomes resulted in the Portugal international suffering a fracture dislocation to his right ankle.

The South Korea forward, who was shown a red card for the challenge, was visibly upset as he walked straight down the tunnel and into the dressing room.
